Atmospheric abstract paintings by Alex Z. Wang

I paint emotional landscapes — abstract oil paintings where color moves like weather and light behaves like memory. The work is moody and atmospheric: fields of pigment that dissolve, drift, and settle, informed by dance, film, and the rhythms of New York, where I live and work.

New paintings, works on paper, and small oils are released throughout the season — the newsletter and my Instagram see them first.
